Kent County Council

Kent County Council is one of the largest local authorities in the UK, with a population just over 1.46 million persons.

The County Council administers public services across twelve districts and carries out the full functions of an UK upper tier authority. Details of all activities are contained on our website at www.kent.gov.uk For the Engage project, Kent County Council is pursing the UK Governments agenda for improved Broadband speeds - delivering a project worth 60 million euros to increase broadnabdn provision for all citizens to at least 2MB and 90% of citizens at 30MB. These targets are to be achieved in the next three years and will involve significnat works in the rural areas of the County.
